Forum Rules

Here's the thing. Forums are great but a pain in the **** to administer. If it's not the script misbehaving it's some idiot abusing others or spamming left, right and centre.

The more time we spend sorting out issues the less time we spend doing other stuff that is much more valuable to us (and you).

Hence the draconian rules. Nothing personal, just... a time management exercise.

1. Keep it civilised

Our objective is to create a forum that will be used as an example each time someone says "can't we just all get along... like at the Free Porn Times forums?"

Any form of flame, fight, argument or bad vibes between users will be dealt with a topic closure and warning as the first step, and secondly with deletion and banning of the offender's account.

Please keep it clean. Even in the context in which this site operates we aspire discussions where language is decent. OK, half-decent will do. Don't postl like a teenager would.

2. Don't post content / links to anything illegal, offensive or overly-gross

That means no links to rotten.com type pics and stories.

If you post any particularly bad (eg. child pornography) your post will be deleted. Your profile will be made unaccessible to you and details sent off to the authorities. As far as child pornography is concerned, we will be proactive about helping stem it out.

Feel free to discuss delicate subjects but do so respectfully and with tact. This usually leads to good quality conversations.

Do not post images or files. Link to them instead.

3. Don't spam

Spam will be either deleted or kept and ridiculed. In any event, we will make sure that you will not profit from your spamming activities (eg. we'll edit links to point them to your competitor's site).

4. Feel free to advertise your business / links if...

You've posted at least 20 times.

5. About our stalinist moderation strategy

As mentioned at the very beginning, we don't have time to deal with nonsense. We reserve the right to edit / delete / move or do anything we wish without giving notice. Don't like it? Get your own forum.

Please notice that your freedom of speech, as sacrosant as it may be in the society you live in, does not apply here. This is a private entity and we have every right to do what we want with the content you post (except for what is mentioned in point 6 below)

6. Respect copyright. We will too

Do not post any material that you don't have permission to use. If you need to post an article that we simply must read then write a sentence describing what it is and then link to it. Acknowledge the source.

Your content remains yours. We will not use any of your material, beyond its publication in the forums, without your consent.
