Whilst it is unlikely that this discipline will be featured at the 2012 London Olympics the sport has a huge following. The World Wet Women Federation is pushing hard for recognition but it’s going to be years before any activities involving vaginal discharges are accepted as mainstream sporting.

Nevertheless, breaking the new world record did attract the media’s attention, especially as it was shattered by 3 litres – a massive amount. Christine Stephenson, the World’s Wettest Woman, had to be placed in a specially designed tub for the occasion to avoid spills (and disqualification).

The record now stands at 34,37 litres. Will the 35 litre mark be reached before the end of the year?
